Ridiculous and should be hammered by the Angel of Stern.LeBaby is 6'8" and 260 lbs, it would take an act of God to move him like that. In fact if played in the NFL and there was no "reward" for that behavior, he would be damn near immovable.

So with all of the talk comparing Bronbron to MJ should end right now. MJ would have never faked contact to draw a cheap foul. Unsportsman like and cheapens any advantage he gains. It actually draws in the question of how great he can be if has to resoprt to this to "win" his title.

Re: The Top 15 floppers in the NBA

#1 ginobili #2 fisher

Re: Flopping can be hazardous to your health

Definate flop, definate walking violation by Gasol after he secures the ball.

Re: Flopping can be hazardous to your health

I was at that game where Ginobili flopped and hurt himself. You left off that Coach Poppovic was so upset by the correct no call that he was ejected from the game. Also, I think you overplay the part about Memphis being beatable. If I am not mistaken the Grizzlies won 6 of 10 games against the Spurs this season.

Re: Three flops from same player in one game this past Thursday. I really believe flopping is starting to ruin the game. Derek Fisher is by far the worst when it comes to flopping. He flops when he shoots, flops going through screens, flops when setting screens, flops for charges, and I've even seen him flop on a breakaway and not even attempt to make the shot. I have lost a lot of respect for him over the years. And this somewhat newer trend of mainly superstars sweeping their arms through the defenders, creating the contact, and then going up to shoot has got to stop.

Re: Ginobili’s attempt to draw a foul (flop?) gets him hurt again

We thought the same but you'll also see that Ginobili is leaning into Hill like he was falling down when he didn't have to do that unless he wanted to draw contact, and his arm was just a natural extension of wanting to draw contact.

If he was trying to seal him off while being fully upright, that would have been one thing, but leaning into Hill while basically falling down (part of the flop process) was the problem. It's not like he stumbled (authentically) that made him need to lean into Hill.

Re: Ginobili’s attempt to draw a foul (flop?) gets him hurt again

We all know Ginobili flops, but I think you got this wrong. Ginobili was trying to seal out Grant Hill as he used to screen so he could easily roll to the basket with the open lane. He's simply trying to make sure Hill wasn't between him and the basket, and he hurt his elbow in the process

Re: Contact

I LOVE THIS WEBSITE!!! Flopping is ruining the game, thank you for calling attention to the worst offenders. The most entertaining part of the Lakers/ Hornets series is watching offending floppers Fisher and Chris Paul try to flop each other out and get a taste of their own medicine. You should start a page of guys who kick out there legs while taking a jump shot a la Chauncey Billups.
